Dear Payasos con Corazon, I wanted to take a moment to say thank-you to all those involved in putting together this wonderful trip we shared in Mexico. Bart and Arne deserve a big thank-you for putting forth their idea and then doing the work involved in making it happen. Sue Stillwell did an outstanding job in making everything flow as seamlessly as possible from setting up a variety of locales, the accomadations, and a wide variety of venues to clown at. And then she had the best idea and that was to bring Chuck along with her. Thank-you to Shobi Dobi for sharing herself and her special talents and compassion with us. Johnny Sunshine, we all thank-you for generously sharing your photos and creativity with us. And I want to say what a great group of clowns joined this adventure. Everyone has a different style, a different approach to caring clowning. In the end it all works because everyone did such a great job of just opening their hearts everywhere we went. It truly was an outstanding trip and I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to be part of the group. Thanks to all of you, Connie 'Chickie'
Thank you for wording so well your letter of appreciation for the trip. I just want to add my thanks and applause to all of who made this trip so memorable. Thanks to all of you. I hope that I can have the privilege to clown with all of you again.
Many thanks to all who went on this trip--it sure was a greatlearning experience...especially to see 31 clowns in one place, all with different personalities getting along and interacting with the crowds. Dear Clown Mates, Remember when we stepped off the bus at Villa de Los Ninos, and the boys were singing to us in their soft, unchanged voices? What I felt was a kind of awe at the sweetness and beauty of their welcome.
Now, remembering our varied and rich experience together in Mexico, I feel another kind of awe, a gratefulness for being able to go on a loving mission, for meeting all of you and witnessing your generous spirits, for Shobi's teaching tips, for the dedication of Arnie, Bart, and Sue in creating this unique opportunity to swing the pendulum back to laughter and gentleness. I don’t think I can say it any better, but I do want to echo the sentiments expressed here. I, too, am grateful. Everyone contributed in some way to making this trip a truly beautiful and amazing experience. I am grateful to Arne, Bart & Sue who planned and organized. I appreciate Shobi for her wisdom, warmth and creativity, which she shared so freely. And I am thankful to all for the fun you created and your generous expressions of love, support and encouragement—to me, one another and the Mexican people. It’s a heartening and a precious experience to see humans at their finest. Thank you, everybody!!!
