I thought it might be good for clowns to post the ways in which they raised funds to pay for Caring Clown trips such as the ones Patch heads up to Russia, China, and elsewhere or the one Dr Laffngiggl made to Mexico in 2003.

I would love to hear other ideas. Pixie and I can afford one clown trip every three years or so. We need to raise funds if we are to travel in 2006. The resale of Red Skeltons is my idea; what are yous?

I recently saw a clown raise money for a trip by writing to friends and contacts explaining what he was doing and asking for support. It was effective for him. He went on his trip and got financial support.

We are working on an exciting trip for caring clowns in 2006 and will release more details when they are more in place. It is a new destination.
