I want to start a seperate topic on Shoes since I have seen questions from clowns on several e groups and I'd like to get input to refer them to.

In addition to my real clown shoes, I have several pairs of shoes that I decorated and I use for different occasions. They are more comfortable than regular clown shoes.

I use the custom shoes for parades and my hospital work...sometimes as much as 7 hours at a time. They are inexpensive and I change them from time to time with different colored laces, acrylic paint designs, etc.

I attached my red shoes to this post. I actually get more comments about my home made shoes than my finely made clown shoes.

Love both sets of shoes! As a clown that is very active, I have shied away from the traditional clown shoes as I just would not be able to do all the "fancy steps" that I do in clown! You have given me some ideas to "jazz" up my red sneakers. Thanks, Lemmie

I took an old pair of gym shoes and painted them. I've gotten many compliments and they cost me nothing but a little time. The paints were "borrowed" from Arne. :-)
