Hello All,

Are there any nursing homes in florida that use caring clowns as an intervention?

The best way to find out, Keke, is to contact the recreational therapist at a nursing home near you. That's all we did and even though they had never had caring clowns before, they were overjoyed to bring us on board! We have been clowning there for more than 3 years!

Try it! This way YOU choose the home to volunteer at! Good luck.

I am a caring clown and volunteer in Florida, and we visit many nursing homes in the Polk County area. You can contact the Good Shephard
Hospice in Lakeland or check the Hospice office
in your area to see if they have a clown program. If they don't, you might want to start
one for them. I am going on my second year and love it. GOOD LUCK!!!
